I tried searching the archives for the previous trivia questions to attempt to revive it.  I thought it was a fun forum.  However, I could not locate it so I am starting this one.  Whoever answers the question correctly gets to ask the next question.

What is the only crime defined in the U.S. Constitution?

OK, here goes...What's the origin of the word "plumbing"?

The Romans had the first real plumbing system; water was brought to Rome by aqueducts and distributed to homes in lead pipes. . .the name plumbing from the Latin word "plumbum" for lead??

  Jay, you're right about "plumbum". Lead's designation "Pb" on the periodic chart of elements has the same derivation. However, plumbing systems predate the Romans by many centuries. On Crete, extensive terra-cotta piping has been found that is at least 4,000 years old.
  I used to find lead plumbing pretty frequently behind old plaster and lath walls doing renovation work in the 70s in DC. Haven't seen a whole lot of it since.

Friday the 13th is correct...!

As for the second one...jiffy is a measurement of time (1/100th of a second). Therefore, the phrase "back in a jiffy" meant to return really quick...
