Has anyone attended the cnc resources Basic Adjusting Class, which covers wind/flood and simsol. Is it a good class, did you feel you learned enough to get started in this field.

Yes, I attended the basic wind/flood/Simsol course through CNC. No, I do not feel comfortable at all writing estimates with only taking that course.

Has anyone else taken a cert class with them? How did you like working with them? I was going to train with Pilot but there only taking adjusters with 5 yrs exp now.

Ive taken several courses at CNC and enjoyed all of them. They’ve been good to work with and I’d definitely recommend them. I don’t have much experience in construction so there’s a whole lot I still have to learn and there just isn’t enough time to cover all of it in only one course and be fully prepared, so try to take as many courses as you can. Ive been through the Claimsmentor program, received my FL license, taken courses on Xactimate & Simsol, received a certification from Citizens, taken the flood/wind/hail course at CNC, written a dozen estimates on my home etc etc but since I’ve never worked a claim before and don’t have much construction experience, Im still apprehensive about working on my own without some supervision. I’d try take as many classes as you can and brush up on construction, building codes etc too. The more you know, the better off you're going to be.
