Send a resume to all vendors. That should open some doors for you. Be sure and put in your resume that you have a postive attitude and are willing to do what must be done.

Let no one dissuade you.

Tom has a good point.  You may find people on here that are negative, sarcastic and generally a downer, but there are many more that are willing to help a new guy (or gal) get started.

Cruising this site, with all its info is a good start.  Good luck in your quest.

Jack

Jeff needs to watch out or he might earn a designation, that is apparently not in use at this time, BCM after his name.

Now Tom what was the meaning of this designation again?

Should we be encouraging anyone to join the many thousands (or tens of thousands) of new adjusters dreaming of the pot of gold from a small event. Reality is, unless something very big hits very few of the new adjusters will have work. If that seems insulting to some of you, such is life.

Seems hard to post anything these days without offending or insulting someone doesn't it Dirt?

There probably won't be as many new adjusters next year.  And probably not as many old adjusters.

Reading departure signs in some big airport
Reminds me of the places I've been
Visions of good times that brought so much pleasure
Makes me want to go back again
If it suddenly ended tomorrow
I could somehow adjust to the fall
Good times and riches and son of a bi-----
I've seen more than I can recall

I took off for a weekend last month
Just to try and recall the whole year
All of the faces and all of the places
Wonderin where they all disappeared
I didn't ponder the question too long
I was hungry and went out for a bite
Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum
And we wound up drinkin all night

Claims Ray, not sure what BCM means. Does it pertain to some type of bowel movement? Who is Jeff?
