First things first: 1) What are the Federal, State and/or local regulations regarding the removal of the product? 2) What are the Federal, State and/or local regulations regarding the packaging of the removed material? 3) What are the Federal, State and/or local regulations regarding the disposal of the product? The Federal regulations are the minimal, then the State regs, then and the local regs. Sometimes, all of the above regulations require the use of a Licensed, Hazardous Waste removal contractor. They can also require the use of double bagging in specified containers, and the use of a special classified landfill. Without knowing the requirements there can be no way to account for the costs. In some States we have used a price of $30.00 per square for disposal, in others it can cost $100.00 per square. (And then there are others that?????????) Replacement items can include, Slate, Fire-Free Shingles, Artificial Slate, or any oter fire resistant/retardant materials. The object being replacement in like kind and Quality.
