Roy,
Why don't you just revoke those posters privligages 5-6 posts of same format, etc. as guest, and then try one as new member, seems the IP address would indicate the W's and find the answer to whom makes these posts.

Thank you

Anyone else catch the CNN story today with a brief interview with Kanstoroom? They showed a homeowner who 'didn't get enough money'.
I dunno, it wasn't one of my claims, maybe she did, maybe not. What struck me minutes after the story was over was the walk-through of the house. It's still a wreck. The camera shots showed no sign of any attempt to do anything there. No debris remove, no drywall remove; just a two year old pile of tears. And another big media story about 'them insurance men is crooked...'

I believe Steve could tell you everything you want to know about the house shown on CNN.  If you are concerned about Jennifer's family, I am sure if you e-mailed Steve he could fill you in on the details.  He has been in the home.  I saw the video of the home on the ABC Evening news Tuesday night at it was obvious that and tear out was done and repair was begun.

The bigger issue is M. Brown is gone, the President of CSC resigned, and it is my understanding so did Joe Buzzelli.  They are all named defendants in the fraud suit.

Sept. 20, 2005 — More than 100,000 Gulf Coast homeowners who are expecting help from the federal flood insurance program may be in for a bitter surprise, according to victims of a hurricane that hit the state of Maryland two years ago this week.
"Pennies on the dollar.  And they'll be unable to rebuild their homes and lives just as victims from numerous storms across the country have been subjected to for the last years," says Steve Kanstoroom, founder of FEMAINFO.us, a Web site advocating for flood victims, including those whose homes were damaged when Hurricane Isabel triggered a flood surge in the Chesapeake Bay.......

Kudos to Steve and the other "PATRIOTS" who have brought the Congress of the USA and FEMA and NFIP to their knees.

Would that , we had in our corner, those type of people , to pave the way for the proper resolve on the many claims we have handled to the detriment of the insured, as we were directed.

There is not a day that passes, which does not reveal some discourse, which is reflective of an opinion that is not in tune with the norm. For instance, today, it was brought out that OH&P paid in front should be deducted from a supplemental payment, rendering the supplement almost neglible. ( But no one can complaim when the Carrier 'Non-Renews") just go look for another carrier at a higher premium.

In a solomn, silent prayer, we should applaud the efforts of these individuals, and do all possible to enhance their cause and bring some closure to those unfortunate individuals that suffered the unjust treatment foisted upon them by untrained, untested and unjust "adjusters"

Where, oh where, would we be without leaders of his ilk?

A genuine thrill to see someone other than those of us impacted by Isabel acknowledge Steve's incredibly selfless and tireless work.

So-A tangent....I was in a previously flooded commercial building yesterday and ran into a guy doing a "DSR". Ya, I too said "wtf". But he was entering measurements from a moisture meter to see if the building was dry enough so he and his team could move on to the next project...QUESTION to ALL..what is "dry enough" what is a "DSR"? I am not a newbie but this was newww to me - help, please? I called my contact at the Insurer..they had no idea what this was - some health thing? some Code issue? some FEMA thing? Hey - nine days an no internet..rather nice huh!

Ten Hut.

Looks like more questions than answers regarding the Humongous FEMA foul up. Are we headed to another "Isabel" trick bag with the activities here in Mississippi and Louisiana?

Hundreds, nay, thousands of FEMA trailers being imported here, they have taken over every RV park, and Mobile Home park and now are creating their own.

Yet, when asked about the "Isabel" fiasco, FEMA answers not.

Alan, You were quoted as advising people to ask their adjuster for a resume? That may make you famous on this website.

The "Now he sues insurance companies that he says intentionally lowball victims." line may not make you famous in the eyes of the carriers. :)

Is the lawsuit naming so many last year over Isabel claims going forward?

Yes.  The class action is as well.  The insurance industry's motions were all denied in the class action days after the fraud suit was filed and the judge ordered discovery to begin immediately as I recall.

Not sure if the complaint has been read by anyone but I stumbled across a link for it:  http://www.femainfo.us/Links/Complaint.final.htm.

There is a word document for the complaint as well but it will not let me post to the site.

And now a question begs an answer.

WHO, IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WANTS TO WORK FLOOD?

This may be all a bunch of hot air "blowing in the wind", but to name almost every person (even individually), many companies and Federal agencies involved in the flood program?  Wonder how long it will take? Will the adjusters E&O policies be attacked?

Time to quit........................................................

Another Lawsuit, will it ever end, or will the insured quit and decide not to fight the Fed?
