Hey all just reporting in, I don't have alot to offer to your discussions. But i heard about this site and wanted to see what the Adjusters are thinking. All my work is lined up for me so I expect to stay extremely busy, and won't be asking for work. I also heard you guys don't have much respect for the "roofer" Say it isn't so
I am already enjoying the debate between several posters. Our industry has the same issues. We have a lot of great Roofers, but they turn south, and show some terrible business practices when they strike out on their own.
Nailgun, you hit the nail on the head. There are a lot of great roofers, and those are well respected by all adjusters worth the salt from their sweat on a 12/12 pitch roof on a 105 degree afternoon on a dallas hail roof. You also heard correctly, we don't have much respect for roofers, not the ones you refer to as having terrible business practices.
