I have a claim from a customer that his window seals have been damaged by hail so that we should replace them. I would like to inquire for some information to know if this is possible or not since we have not dealt with this particular case before, if you have any information please respond

High wind will cause the seals to break. In which case the window must be replaced.

Look at the window very close and you may see something that looks like fog, or tiny black specks on the inside. Both are SEAL FAILURE and not covered. Tell the insured to hire a good glass co. to replace the seals and they are as good as new. The hail or wind damage will be a broken glass, not a broken seal. The matter inside is "mold" If you pay seal failure for some carriers you will be sent home with the designation of "worm" by your name. Lots of data on thermal window seal failure. big red and hands has lots of papers on it.
