Buffalo poop...I like that statement. As independents, we write and adjust per the instructions given, really people, with the exception of staff, how many times were you called so someone could fax or request the hold back or where do I send this completion notice? We storm into town and blow out like the snow in Wyoming that never melts, blows away also...Some get to stay behind and do the "Clean up, re-inspects, and general anger management"...bottom line, repair or replace, which ever is less.. |

GB....Good post and to the point.....Our job is to ADJUST the loss to a conclusion, guided by the parameters established by the policy. In actuality, our allegence lies to the policy and its contents and no where else(and of course guided by court decisions). |

Control freaks and buffalo poop. Sounds like a Willie Nelson song. Has anyone notices that Xactimate has a little place where you check if the work is to be done by Contractor or Insured? Play around with it and notice the diffrences. Also, what about the old argument over depreciating labor? What if our estimates were written in labor and material rather than unit prices? Hummm. |
