you know being an adjuster is a conflicting career choice. You don't want to wish anything bad on anyone, but you need these things to happen in order to obtain work. Now once the CAT occurs we are doing a good thing. I do agree, a category IV hurricane going up I-45 in Houston would keep is busy for over a year..
Be carefull what you wish for. It may walk up I-45 to downtown Houston, hang a left at I-10 and wander on out thru Katy!!!! You may be too busy dealing with your own loss to work claims....
You know I can adjust my own house as well as others."who knows, even better" :) I could also rent my house out to a gaggle of adjusters and move to a nice hotel near the action. Just kidding
Having lived and adjusted claims throughout the Petroplex from one end to the other, a category V hurricane probably would be a good thing overall. If it totally took out I-10 from Katy to past Refinery Row, I don't think it would affect traffic to any significant degree. I-10 has to be the most worthless portion of an urban interstate road there is in the country. I got to calling it Parking Lot 10 :)
