Sure, go ahead and go to work for them...but keep your bag packed for an early departure. |

deward1, Where did you see the ad? Was it in Houston? I know that the guy who runs Trinity Construction in Houston was working with his dad on setting up an independent firm. The elder Mr. Stewart was a high level manager in some of the big guys and is currently working w/ Glock (I think) up here in Virginia. The dealings I had with Danny Stewart at Trinity Construction while I was at Allstate were always on the level and they were one of the few vendors I personally felt comfortable in recommending to people because of his integrity. Now this was as a construction company so I don't know if it is the same outfit you are referring to. I didn't think they were far enough along in their planning on the adjusting firm yet.

Sure...if you want to work for a firm with virtually ZERO CAT experience, and like doing so for free then jump right on in.
I have heard that this company has a less than perfect record of paying its' adjusters, and that they are not really in the CAT business at all. They are predominantly a TPA with one major client (a Trucking firm).
Before going to work for them, I would suggest that you get some real feedback from real adjusters who have worked claims for them, and ask how long they had to wait for their money.
Adjuster BEWARE!!! |

I worked two files for them last year after they begged me for help. One file was 120 miles one way. After 90 days, I had not been paid, so I called their offices. The people that were supposed to be the top officers of the company said that they had never heard of the person that had called me. After several calls I reached the contact person, and since he only promised to send a check soon, I offered to drive from Texas to SE LA that day to collect, either cash or ass. I finally got a check for about half of what I had expected. |

And WE DON'T NEED some representation?
Well, lets see, if we have 3-6 vendors that have not paid 10-20 adjusters for their work, maybe our new Collection department, can recover the monies due and this could assist in funding the operation.
Gee, Imagime an organization, that made sure that the work done by it's members got paid , in full, for all the correct work they did.
Anyone ever figure out how much money is left on the table every year?
Have personal knowledge of several people that lost many thousands of dollars from an outfit in FL, and then there is always the NC outfit which has been revealed here, and mayby the NE outfit, and , shucks cannot remember them all, lets just put the figure @ say $250,000.00. and see what we can collect.
Any volunteers for heading up this department?
In New York, Philly, Miami and Chicago we have several well known and (respected?), small individual firms that always bring home the bacon. (Less the agreed to commission, of course).
Nope, lets all just sit back, let things run their course and forget the mighty words of Casey Stengle, (NY Yankees Manager). "NICE GUYS FINISH,LAST" |
