Care custody and control is in all General liability policys. Was the roof framing members in the CCC of the roofer. Was the work on the roof the cause of the nail pops? Yes to both. Sue the contractor... his insurance will not respond. Both could purchase an Installation Floater for this job, to cover unentended consequences, but economics ruled.
