Let us all try to make this a professional forum and keep the other comments to AOL or email, OK! In light of some recent events, I was reminded of a comment I saw in the archives. I searched for it and bring it back to the forefront.

‘Let us all try to make this a professional forum and keep the other comments to AOL or email, OK!’

I note that all don’t have AIM (AOL) but unless Roy objects that PM could be used to hurl insults that are occasionally clogging the forums and keep them professional.

As to the title of this topic the Quote is from one of our ‘fallen comrades’, Tom Joyce

Bill without question Tom was a very professional adjuster and a fine man as well. Tom was a peacemaker by nature it seems. Most are not nor understand the need for it. The nature of mankind will just naturally put oneself ahead of the interest and concerns of others and that is proven by post on CADO. There is no question if more of us were willing to let our training override our nature to zing others as Tom Joyce did so well it would be a better world and CADO but many times we act as we want to instead of the way we know we should. What we can’t control (that being others) we just kind of have to not focus on the negative and as far as CADO and life in general we just have to focus on the good. We can’t stop driving our cars just because of the potholes in the road but we do not have to hit everyone we see and then be upset about it. Thanks for the reminder that we could work to make CADO more effective. There is a need for information about negative things so we can head for shelter in the case of a tornado for example but the personal attacks seem to create more harm than good in all cases.

Let me see, how did that go, "Do unto others as you have them do unto you" or was it "Do unto others before they do unto you". I believe it was the first. At least, the greatest man to ever live ascribed to the first one and we all know who ascribes (the author of) to the second one.

We all need to be corrected from time to time and critiqued. It's good for us so long as it is constructive in nature.

Life's mirror images are what you project. It applies to all your good and bad traits, and what you project is what you get in the reflection. Don't be offended if you don't always exactly match the person in the reflection, you never will, remember light always over comes darkness. Darkness cannot abide in light. Think of light as a positive force and think of a positive force as a good attitude toward others. Show respect and it will be given unto you most of the time.
Change only those things you have control over, don't worry about nor be offended, by those you cann't. It would be a waste of time and emmotions.
