I predict somewhere from south Texas to Minnesota and anywhere from 1/5 inch to 6 inches in diameter. Sorry I can't be more specific, if I could I would be rich. |

Kile, perhaps you could be the CADO prophet? Living on the I-35 corridor, I like what you're saying!!! Recent trends put those storms between St. Louis and the Carolinas. Personally I think they've had their turn.
C'mon I-35. :-) |

I think it is time for the Big "D" and Shreveport, LA to get it. Also close to home. |

C'mon Michael, Dallas? I'll give ya. But Shreveport? 2000 was a great year for Shreveport. Don't be greedy.......Allright go ahead, you weren't CATin so you didn't reap the benefits. I hope you have a 10,000 claim year. |

Only reason I say Dallas is because it is close and it will produce alot of claims. I know we all need the work so we need another Minneapolis. |

I would give my opinions on weather patterns and such, but I don't want to jinx it. Just keeping my fingers crossed. After sitting through a day long NFIP seminar today, I am long ready to get in on a good hail storm.
I agree with Tom. My parents live in Grapvine on the NW side of DFW. The houses in Dallas have more roof than I've ever seen in my life. And they love to cut them up too.
I'll take a good Indiana hail storm any day. They have plain old gables and I like that. |

As of 8:15 the NOAA site list 31 reports of large hail. Sounds good.

Just an update! As of 10:45 this morning the national weather service has reported 139 cases of hail damage and 7 cases of wind damage. Damage concentrated in KS, LA, MO, AR, OK, and some in Florida with largest reported diameter so far in LA @ 2"
Just a little info to keep everyone on their toes. |

What kind of roofs are in Kansas? 1or2 story? Steep or Not? Comp or Wood? If it makes a good cat will it be a $$ storm? I have never been there so I was just curious. |
