I thank each and every one of you for your prayers and thoughts. I do know that Tom does not hurt anymore. I feel certain that he has gone to be with the lord in heaven and that I and many of you will eventually get to work with him there.

A heavy heart is so hard to carry. I know God is getting us through. I know that some of you that got to know him through the site will miss him and his compassionate friendship too. He was truly a good man.

God Bless you all for caring.

Sincerely,
Cheryl Joyce and family

Cheryl, I pray for your strength to see you through this time of grief. One thing I would like to point out is that when a person is about to pass over, many times a peace will come over them and they seem to improve. This is a sign that GOD has taken control over their life, they may be spared or taken home. So you have the satisfaction of knowing, he was in the creators care, there is no doubt.

Please don't feel alone, you have family and friends that still need and love you. Tom is in GODS care, his burden has been lifted. We grieve of his absence yet he is the comforted in his passing.
This is the mystery of life, his joy and our sadness.

And a special plea, I feel I speak for all the group, stay with us, we need you on CADO, Tom's brothers need your support just as you need theirs. This is a family and families should stick together in trying times.

I pray that your heavy heart be comforted by family, friends, and memories, that you will meet again and be joined forever in glory...Amen

It is hard to see the keyboard through my tears. Know this, even though Tom cannot come to you anymore, you can be with him again. Come Lord Jesus and bring your peace.

Don, sorry to see you back under such a sad circumstance, but you and your most meaningful messages have been sorely missed around here.

Why don't you post to a new thread and bring your 'old friends' up to date with what you're doing and how life is treating you.

Don, it's been way too long. Welcome back Old Friend!

Cheryl, I have been out this week and am really shocked. Tom's heart was in the right place in my book.

I continue to thank each and every one of you for your support and uplifting messages, they are powerful and are what is helping us get through this tough time.

I don't have fancy words and am just a "plain jane" with a heart like any other human. I pray for the comfort that you share and give to me that you will also experience the same ten-fold. I have often feared getting back on the storm field by myself, always wondering what would happen if something like this would happen to us, to lose permanently one or the other. Well, I guess it is here and I can see that I have a bigger family than I knew.

God Bless you all. You have no idea how much comfort you bring.

Best regards, Cheryl.

Cheryl, You will never get over this but you will get through it. The sooner you get back to work the easier it will be. I know it is easier said than done.
Its Ground Hog Day and the weather is beautiful. The temp. is 68. I guess that means 6 more weeks of winter. The Ground Hog in this area was Alabaster Al, over at Alabaster, Alabama. Well a few years ago we lost Al, he came out on ground hog day and didn't see his shadow he didn't even see the 18 wheeler so he met his demise out on Highway 31. Now we have to guess how long winter will last. I don't know if he has been replaced or not. Have a good day, Newt.

Just a note to honor and remember Tom Joyce. He was a friend of mine. So as I stand looking at the stars and a piper plays "Amazing Grace" in my mind, here's to you my friend.

Tom nor I could ask for a better group of friends and brothers and sisters, family. That is exactly what you have treated us like. Thank you ALL for your support. With all these pleasing thoughts and "honors", I am going to put a photo album together with all of these messages and present it to his mother and father. I would like them to know the kind of friends that Tom had. Even though you guys did not drop by the house, (for obvious reason) you visited in the new and modern world of which we live. You may not have had a beer or a spirit with him, but I bet somebody outhere toasted him or with him.

You are a great bunch of people and I want you to know, that I am here for you, just as you have been here for us. May the stars shine upon you at the close of your day from where ever you are (hopefully on storm somewhere)realizing that some of those stars are your friends that are going before you to check things out so it can be good company in the heavens. Rejoyce, Rejoyce for your brother Tom Joyce, all he would want would be for you to take care of me by treating me with respect, should we meet in the field. He knows that I will be back out there again. He knows where I am the happiest and most productive. Under the right circumstances and the right timing (after May 31, 2003) I may take a leap of faith, again. I will continue pray for all of you -as you have for us.

Thanks,

Cheryl Joyce

Cheryl,
Our sincerest condolensces to you and to the rest of Tom's family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. We surely missed out by not knowing him personally, but we are thankful for having been able to know him at least through his posts here. Although it is hard on us who cannot benefit from his presence, any longer, it is far from hard for him as he is in a glorious place now.

Thank you for your thoughts. I wonder if you may still know some of the post topic that Tom had contributed, that you might remember. I am trying to gather as much of Tom's sharing of his information and posts so I can make a memory book for his mother. I don't find (lack of knowledge on my part) or don't know where to find the posts. Roy has tried to explain it but I still can't locate them. Anyone know how I can locate them. If you have find one, could you e-mail it to my address cjoyce60@earthlink.net I think his mother would appreciate to know how much he was respected in the field. (of course I'm going to make me a memory book too!)

Thanks to all of you.

How goes it with everyone???? Everyone working or resting up before the big seasons?? Keep in touch.
