This may be discipline for sure, but order it is not.
Three posts in quene since about 4.30 PM ET, and three moderators.
Reminds me of a Newfie joke. |

I think we are all adults and it would be better if we could all just overlook the comments we don't like and skip to the next posting. This reminds me of the people who complain about the garbage on TV. If you don't like it either change the channel or turn it off. Maybe I like watching garbage. Just remember one man's trash is another man's treasure. |

Kile, BTW, happy to hear you like shooting at the 'birdies'. You'll have to come up to Redneck City, NC when dove season opens this year as my guest.
I'll be happy to paint 'Liberal' on the side of the skeet as well as post photos of Bill C. and Teddy K. on the clay to help you with your aim.
All the adult beverages you can drink, and heck, we might even invite Cuzin' Newt to help keep us straight!

Sorry fellas. I was on last at about 3:00 CST. Then I had family obligations. I have checked all conversations in Coverage Forum and it appears all is well and approved. I'm still learning the moderator curve. I think all would prefer ignoring negative posts in the hopes they would disappear. But, we have requested guidelines and now we must abide by them. More moderators? Couldn't hurt.
Hoping for frozen pipes here in KC.
I'll be gone to Des Moines all day tomorrow.
Have a good day! |

Glad to see the "Coverage" site back on track Don, thanks . Maybe I can get something out of it now. Jim and Kile, I feed the doves and quail about two or three gallons of feed a day, sometimes it takes four. They just keep comming. I have about thirty quail in one covey down by the pond. I never hunted them yet but I keep the cow birds cleaned out. One more thing, If I am going skeet hunting with you guys, who is going to keep me straight? I ain't cleaning no skeet either. I don't mind the cooking, cause Kile don't know how. |

Good Golly, Geez Louise! We're getting worse than a bunch of blue hairs in the nursing home griping about the tapioca! It's very similar to the state we 275 adjusters were in at the Los Angeles Hilton hotel in downtown L.A. during the earthquake for Safeco.
We are bringing the sublime art of bitching to an exciting new level of achievement. And...it's getting boring, much like network TV.
(Why are the batteries always dead in my clicker?)

Newt, I hear if you soak the skeet in milk overnight they get a little more tender and less gamey and if you drain the milk off every couple of hours you can get rid of that bright orange color. |

Maybe Newt and I can bag a few 'snipe' while you're marinating the skeet. I'll bet the Old Boy 'ain't' never been on a snipe hunt nor tasted the tender delicacy of 'Snipe L'orange.' Goes well with a little splash of 'branch' too. |

Why does my post on page 3 have a Moderator Alert and the rest of the postings do not?
Jim: We have a special snipe season here in Alabama at the end of the month. No limit!!!! |

What a difference a day makes!
Notwithstanding Ghost's comments, my pants have two back pockets. One has my wallet and all its secrets and a tiny bit of money - that's my good pocket. The other pocket carries my handkerchief (my mother used to fold and iron them for me), well you know what they are used for - that's my bad pocket.
Yesterday, I waved my soiled hankie in frustration, due to my perception of delays in moderation.
Today, I posted again in the coverage forum, when I pressed enter - there it was moderated, as if someone was reading over my shoulder as I did it.
A total reversal with regards to real time entry, thank you and I appreciate it; and I want to apologize for being snotty yesterday in my frustration.
Alan, if I understand the system better now, the "Alert Moderator" button you see with your post, is yours to use, if you feel you want to alert a moderator, with regards to how someone may have commented on your post. |

Sorry guys, I have been snipe hunting in Turkey, got shot in the rear by someone who got behind me. Snipe are a masrh land bird and you gotta be quick. Look em up, they are about the size of a kill dear. Sort of resemble one too. I got hit on a seam, my wallet and one pellet hit my pocket knife. The one on the seam hurt like blazes but didn't break the skin, made a knot the size of a quarter. Most snipe hunting here is done with some idiot holding a gunny sack. If he is not an idiot he'll feel like one. |

Time to leave the 'clubhouse' for the last time today, and go fluff my pillow.
It has been a good day, coming and going from the 'clubhouse', yesterday would have been as well; if I hadn't taken a snitty.
This good and proper atmosphere is all due to you Roy, and I just wanted you to know that I recognize that. Thanks again. |

Here at the WindStorm conference it became clear that this site is read by many in the industry that never post regardless of the childish behavior that occurs which is a good reason to keep down the personal attacks but I am sure there are a few that log in to read the childish stuff. |
