The High presure moving over Alabama will cause warm air and moisture to move up the Blue Ridge range, probably Sun. night and Monday. Ohio may see severe weather. I still look for more flooding through next Tuesday, Pa. to Tenn. and maybe to the East of the Blue Ridge Mtns. |

The storm headed towards the east coast has already caused flooding in Louisiana. This morning between 6 and 7 a.m. one small town reported up to 5 inches of rain. That's in one hour. If this same storm dumps anything close to that on the east coast with all of that snow, things will be ugly. |

Kile: It has been raining here all morning and we are going to get a high presure in Sunday, the air currents will be going to the West of us taking moisture and warm air toward the NE, so look out storms may occur as far west as Indiana and Ohio. Also a big front is headed East from Calif. which has some rotation. This may develope into something in about a week. It may take a northen course through Ok and Mo. I haven't looked at the Jet Stream but that may have an effect. I know there will be a plunge of warm air up the Blue Ridge as far as S. Pa. by Sunday evening. |

Sat.Morning: Got lots of rain thru the night in Alabama, but no twisters touched down. This system is headed north east along with warm air mass. The high will be in here tomorrow pumping more gulf moisture North and west of the Blue Ridge. That will place the weather producing front in Ky.Ohio and PA. More flooding may occur but there may be some violent activity. This is a weather guess. I will get a weather report this morning, I haven't heard any damage reports except for some local flooding last night. We did have some strong wind so I don't know whats out there yet. |

For what it is worth parts of Lexington, KY were still without power Friday evening. Trees really took a hit according to one home owner I have spoken with but he was in FL and has not seen it first hand. |

We are having a short lived break in the weather. The wind died last night late, I only lost one tree limb. I was looking for some real flooding from snow melt and rain, we'll see over the next few days. The next front will be due in a few days and this may be just the start of things to come. I did look for more flooding and I doub't it is over. |

Well, if the storms this weekend don't get some more of us out there, I'll sure be surprised. Monday and Tues. we should find out something. |
The grass is always greener on the other side, but it still has to be mowed! |
