Enclosed is a weblink to today Ft Worth Star-Telegram story entitled Storms bring strong winds, damaging hail.

This really looks like the hailstorm everyone has been wishing and waiting for for a long time.

I live in Ft Worth. We had hail some about the size of racquetteballs. Storm went throught N DFW, lots of big steep cut up suckers. Lost 4 windows in the apt. and got the hood of the work truck popped a little under the carport. Was put on standby yesterday morning, guess we shall see...

Buddy works for American and said they had 74 planes damaged.

I heard big red may have 60000 homeowner's claims. Heading that way on Saturday. Sure as shootin' I'll probably see you there.

AHH life on the north side of Dallas land of the 1 story houses with the 3 story roofs. Anyone for a couple of two story 10/12s with your morning coffee. At least it is real cat work, and no MOLD allowed.

I'm about to leave the office and head for the CADO conference in Mobile and just finished reading this thread. This is the first big hail of the year and it may also be the first hail storm for the new adjusters who visit the CADO site. To all of you who climb roofs to adjust them or review other adjusters who do, please remember to be careful, wear your tiger-paws (I visited with those folk at the PLRB and they really do work) and, if you drop your tape, camera or pencil, let it stop before you take off after it. You can replace a camera, your back (or life) can not be.

I'm working two story/steep and boy am I earning every penny. Tough roofs and very cut up. Billing is good but spending alot of time on each one. Not complaining and should be here for a while. From Big "D".

Just finished up a storm in Pineville and closed 215 in 24 days. Not too shabby for my first storm.
Lucky to do 6 a day. On the first one at 8 and off at 5. You know it is good hail when the impact marks are clear on a 30 year shingle. Love those Hardy shakes.
