Position: Roof Inspector (1099 Contractor)

Locations Available: Nationwide

Purpose: The main focus of this position is to perform comprehensive inspections, making sure homes ready for solar panel installations. Here at Aspen, we are committed to excellence and innovation in every task we undertake. We are looking for skilled Roof Inspectors to join our dynamic team, as we revolutionize roof inspections to facilitate the adoption of solar technology, ensuring homes are optimally prepared for sustainable energy solutions.

The Details:
Operate as a 1099 contractor.
Use App to collect data and photos while onsite.
Inspections take approx. 30/40 minutes.
No reporting or estimates, just gather data via the app.
No licenses or certifications are needed.
Volume of inspections vary by geographic location.
1,000's of inspections are performed every month throughout the US.
Payment issued upon completion of inspection and QA review (10 minutes +/-).
This is not a claims adjuster position or role.
Training provided within the mobile app.
Drone usage approved but not required.
Work part or full time.

Your Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough roof inspections within your home area, utilizing our app to guide your work.
Document all four elevations of the house and detailed roof views through photographs.
Remove and reattach the electrical panel faceplate to take interior photos (usually requires handling 4 screws).
If accessible, photograph the attic space and measure the roof truss without needing to fully enter the attic.
Once data is collected via the app and submitted while onsite, you're done.

Necessary Tools:
A-Frame ladder for attic entries.
Extension ladder for roof access.
Screwdriver for electrical panel tasks.
Digital calipers
Pitch gauge
Drone (not required)
A reliable smartphone with internet access.
Personal transportation.

Compensation:
Earn $75 per inspection as a 1099 contractor. Plus additional for steep roofs and mileage.
Experience fast payment, with earnings issued within minutes after submitting your work through the app.
