I am getting some additional licenses, and hit a wall with the Arizona Non-Resident license.

I looked at the AZ web site, and they have this form for Non-Resident adjusters asking for an address where records can be kept:

ADDENDUM TO ADJUSTER APPLICATION FOR NONRESIDENTS

Pursuant to the requirements of Arizona Revised Statutes § 20-321.01(C)(4), adjusters must maintain in this State an office accessible to the public and keep therein the usual and customary records pertaining to transactions under an adjuster’s license.

Enter below the street address and telephone number of the location within Arizona that is accessible to the public and at which records pertaining to adjuster transactions are maintained.

It is asking for "the street address and telephone number of the location within Arizona that is accessible to the public..."
I called a human over there at the Dept of Ins, and explained that most Ins companies have "gone paperless" and that this requirement is not realistic for someone who is not a resident of their state.  She said it has to be complied with, cannot be a "Mail Box Etc." type address, cannot be a PO Box.

I argued with her for a while, asked how others are complying with it (is there a community paper-dump) and she was of no help.  I Emailed 2 large national vendors I have worked with that deal with licensing issues, and they didn't have a solution.

I kind of understand the State's point, I used to generate banker boxes full of files.  But these days I work for paperless vendors that scan any paper and shred the paper.  Does anyone have a street address and phone I can give them on the form?

You're dealing with a paper-pusher, Bob. Give them your home street address, and it probably works. If not, what have you lost?

Yeah, I may have to try that...  I did get one private message with a possible solution through a vendor I hadn't tried prevously.

Until the Corp of Engineers starts hauling dirt and building levees in AZ, I believe I will stay in LA.

Come on down, Bob. No, that's what Bob, well a different Bob, said, but you get the idea, don't you Bob?

Economic activity out the Yazoo, till the Corp runs through 4.3 Billion USD.
