How many of you have purchased a new computer with the 64 bit version of Vista so you can use more then 3 GB of ram? Does it really work well with current 32 bit software as far as making it run faster?

I haven't tried 64 bit as a way to speed up the process, but I use two screens most of the time and 4 sometimes. I am building a desk top with a "gaming" processor, a "Raid" controller and 4 screens. The new machine will have at least 3GB of ram.

Vista is & will continue to be slo-slo-s--lo--ow until they work out the bugs (just before next issue)

Try Dell.com They still offer XP on new purchased Vostro Business comps.

    Good Luck

Dan, the only slow I have experienced with Vista Home Premium on my lap top, is opening Vista up. Once it is open, it is as fast or faster than XP. So far I have had no compatibiity issues or any other issues.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
