It seems to me that a lot of the severe weather in the Midwest occurs in rural areas. Is there a certification or training course to be eligible for crop damage claims? If so, who do you know that holds crop damage training courses? If not how could I get started handling that type of claim?

Farm Bureau Tech is where I got my crop training and I have worked many crop claim. Hail, chemical and fire. I suggest you contact Farm Bureau Tech and see what they have to offer now.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

Crawford worked a crop claim, of sorts, for Dupont. Somebody sabotaged a chemical sold by Dupont and it killed nursery plants. Ask any old fart about the Crawford Dupont job. Millions were paid out.
