    Sketch it as a room.  Wall 0 thickness and ceiling 0 height.

    Sketching is an art form. You need to sign up for some of the Xactimate sketch classes to learn to do something difficult like this. There are many sketch pros like Tim out there to help you.

    There are a few ways to draw a sign, it depends on the objective, but I may not understand the question. 
     Below are some quick examples on drawing a simple sign.



    Example 1: Uses a photo of the risk as an underlay.



    Example 2: Shows an example using the 3D view.
