CONNECTICUT FIELD ADJUSTER WANTED

**Now Hiring: Property Field Adjuster – Connecticut (1st Party Property & General Liability Claims)**

Specialty Adjusting International is seeking a skilled **Property Field Adjuster** to join our growing team, handling **1st party property** and **general liability** claims across the state of **Connecticut**.

This is a remote, field-based position ideal for experienced adjusters with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

### **Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct physical inspections of residential and commercial properties, including roofs and crawlspaces
* Evaluate and document damages using **Xactimate** estimating software
* Maintain consistent and professional communication with insureds and claimants
* Meet critical timelines:

* **First Contact:** Within 24 hours
* **Inspection:** Within 72 hours
* **Report Submission:** Within 5 days of inspection
* Follow client-specific instructions and estimating guidelines
* Keep organized, detailed claim notes using claims management systems (FileTrac experience is a plus)

### **Qualifications:**

* Minimum **2 years of field adjusting experience** using Xactimate
* Comfortable performing physical inspections (ladder assists available for steep/complex roofs)
* Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
* Proven ability to prioritize, manage time, and meet client deadlines
* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
* Valid Property Adjuster License (if required in your state)
* Tech-savvy with a reliable home office setup
* Must pass a background check
* Professional appearance and demeanor

### **Bonus Experience (Preferred but Not Required):**

* Familiarity with **FileTrac** or similar claim management systems
* General Liability adjusting experience
