I am looking for an Xactimate class in Houston or South Florida.  The last time I used it was Oct of 2008.  I want a refresher class that will help me be ready for the next storm.

Also if there are any good online training videos, websites, classes or workbooks that would help as well.

    Thanks,

    Dan

    Try the Classifieds, http://www.catadjuster.org/classifieds/viewscat.asp?id=10004

Also try this link for some other training options, www.xactware.com/training/

Try saving a little money. Any class could easily set you back several hundred dollars plus any travel costs.   Order the training discs from Xactimate they are under $150.00 providing a hard copy source to answer most questions.   Learn at your own pace.  Classes can be good and bad.   Practice is the main thing.  Might help if you have a clue how to scope a loss and not depend on the pictures in Xactimate to write the estimate for you, but I am old school and learned Xactimate back when it was in DOS and was alot easier to use.

If you learn now you must practice practice practice or you will forget, when you need it. I was tickled to see a fine company like SImsol advertize for adjusters and use their program. I would jump on this if I was a young roof thumper.... they have been around for as long as NFIP has been around. And if I recall they will pay an advance..... no body but nobody but first class vendors offer to give you an ADVANCE ( when you get on location)
