Anyone using the Aerial Sketch feature in 27.3 yet? Any feedback?

Quote from Xactware Press Release about the feature;  "With Aerial Sketch, now available in Xactimate 27.3, property insurance professionals can download aerial images and then trace key roof features, such as edges, ridges, and valleys, to produce fully functional 3-D roof sketches that can be used to estimate replacement costs."

I have seen it demonstrated by a Supervising Xactimate Trainer when I was in a Xactimate Sketch Class in February. He was able to draw the roof from the photo and then show us the 3D View of it after. You just need a couple of accurate dimensions such as the rafter length and ridge length as well as the pitch and it does everything else to scale as I remember.

I would want to check it out myself though and have all the measurements and diagram for the roof so as to double check the Aerial Sketch. I guess I am a sceptic till I prove it to myself as to the accuracy. I don't plan on upgrading though till the company recomends it.

I have used it. It is a really nice feature. I measured out the roof and drew it out in sketch. I then did the aerial sketch and it was within .05% of the original sketch. The cost of the photos is $4.85
