By a 3-2 decision, the Third Circuit Court of Appeal in Lake Charles remanded the Vermilion Parish case Landry v. Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance Corp. for a trial on what ruined the Landrys' home, but set up a test for when the valued policy law can force insurers to pay the policy limits on a home that was completely destroyed. from a this Nola.com article.
