Remi...you're absolutely correct about Bob the Wiz. And if it that really is his photo, it adds a lot of credence to what I've always been told: "A man who is bald in front is a great thinker, a man who is bald in back is a good lover, and a man who is bald all over just thinks he's a good lover!"

Well, I'm losing a lot of hair in back but not fully bald, so I guess I'm good to go. I would like to be able to insert links and objects the way you do. Can you teach me how to? I am still learning the new software on this forum, so likely not much help - Especially with my current work schedule. This new forum is easier to insert photos, but much harder to do quotes because you cannot switch it to "code view" to see what's going on when the quotes don't work right. Roy has a thing on links here. I'm sure Roy is buried in work, and will get an even better platform for us when he can.

Bob did not lose much hair, it just slid down his face to just below his nose. I cut my own hair and have for over 30 years. I just whack it down to within 1/8 of an inch of my scalp. I actually have hair, I just remove it once a week, makes it easy to groom.

In my search for a laser distance measuring device, I came across a fairly used Disto Pro 4a for less than two hundred dollars. Be4 now all I've been seeing and reading about are the As and Ds classification. Since I joined this forum I have been impressed by the amount of wisdom, experience, candor and willingness to share information displayed by members at all levels. With this kind of resource at ones disposal, a newbie like me should not make the mistake of taking a plunge without contacting you guys (that is my opinion; YMMV). So I ask a) has anybody had experience with this instrument? b) what can you tell a potential buyer? Thanks.

If the Disto works at all, it's probably accurate. But, the Stanley and the Sears are around $100 and come with a warranty. I use a Cross pen because I really like them. A Bic works just as well. You makes your choice and you pays your money

I am also a Residential Appraiser and there is nothing like the Disto it is the best and can be used quite easily inside and out. Grant the 100' Tape is best for the tough Roofs or eagleview.com. The Disto can add subtract square and is worth every penny.Very Accurate!
