Has anyone used the Docupen? If so, I would like some feedback.  I am a gadget guru, I love them!  I saw it on a tech program.  You can find it @ www.planon.com  I thought that it may come in handy in this line of work.

I just use my camera to photograph documents.  Most of your digital cameras have a Macro feature (picture of a flower on your Canon and Nikon models).  I also have an additional Macro lens that I attach to the camera to further enhance the detail in documents photographed.

I do my best to abide by the following mantra: Gadgets are great, but less is more.  With that said, how quick does this "docupen" scan documents?  It is small, which means lightweight and out of the way.  Yet, I also lose pens like crazy.

I carry a Canon MP750 Color Printer/Copier/Scanner in my car. It has a document feeder for multi-page documents. Very easy to use, and cheaper than the Docupen!

Each requirement being different, it is sometimes easier to macro photo a receipt, which is common practice,

Other times a scanner is preferred, I  have the docupen for the past 3 years but not the color one,  it does function in a satisfactory manner and have used in on several occassions.

The color one is now available but more costly.

I bought the Docupen but never really found a use for it. Taking a photo of a document or using a rotary scanner works better, all round, for me.
