One of the things we have to always look out for on CAT or Fire losses is where we are putting our feet and what we are stepping on. I keep my Tetanus shots up and haven't been severly hurt but those nails can be nasty. I just found a product called "Rhino Tuff Puncture Resistant Insoles" which is a flexible stainless steel plate with padded support to slip into my regular inspection shoes and boots. I ordered a pair and just received them today. I think it might fit the bill.
