        Hello everyone reading this!

First off thank you for your time. I know this is a very common and annoying request, but if I don't try I will never get anywhere. I am a 25yr old, hard working, college educated, honest and caring person looking for direction. In 2005 I drove from Buffalo NY to New Orleans LA to help with Katrina efforts. After staying almost 4 months I befriended an insurance adjuster. After talking with him about what he does I decided that insurance adjusting was the right career path for me. Knowing that I would be able to be compensated fairly to help someone in times of need had me sold. I immediately went to become certified and licensed by the state of Florida. For a month or so after, I worked side by side with the adjuster. After waiting forever with no work sadly I had to return to NY. After almost 6 years I decided to make New Orleans my permanent home. I am now looking to get back into insurance adjusting and prepare myself before a major storm hits. If anyone could find it in them to help a new adjuster learn the ropes, I would be forever grateful. If you can find it in you to help me my phone number is 504 444 2434. Thank you again! God Bless!

    Sincerely,

    Matt R

I would humbly suggest you start with some AIC courses that deal with homeowners policies.

There's lots of folks that can write an estimate but don't understand the policy. Also, check with the Big 4 and get some of their training.

That'll keep ya busy for a year or so....................

I am a newly licensed Adjuster. I have 10+ years in the P&C business as a producer & Agency Owner for Farmers. I am enrolled in a Xactimate course for sept 11-15, 2011. Can i work or get some field training somewhere ? I hear everyone is looking for Adjusters. Thank you, Kent A. Jenkins 918-902-2479. Location, near Tulsa OK.
