The Applebees Parking Lot Guy informs me he has already inspected one more claim than anyone else and has billed twice what anyone else has. |

Has anyone else noticed that the Applebee's coupons have become more and more infrequent? Coincidence/relationship, or what? Kinda like Starbucks..., seen all the closings of their outlets of late? Never did get that anyway...I can make coffee for a month on what they want for a couple cups. |

I don't want to say that the vendors are getting excited but the e-mails are flying in. This could be a cat 1 low end 2 along Floridas west coast. Expect the phone calls as soon as it clears Cuba. |

I know vendors need to formulize their teams, but, deployment right now, in my opinion, is purley premature on a storm that appears to be a tropical storm. I doubt very seriously that it will even turn into a hurricane. I also have been contacted by a number of vendors, but I will not go to Florida on this one. It just is not going to amount to much, if anything. |

I also think vendors are getting ahead of themselves, but I guess they are just doing their job. I keep getting a notice from Equity Claims. Does anyone know anything about them. I personally don't think this storm is worth traveling so far for, especially with the price of gas. |

Jesse I have worked both daily and Cat claims for Equity on multiple occasions. I have never had any problems with pay and the support has always been there. |

Jesse
We work daily claims for equity all the time and we do not have problems being paid. While it is true that on the daily stuff they pay once they are paid, if the carrier takes longer than usual to pay equity they have paid us and waited for their money. On storm work it is my understanding that they pay ahead twice per month. In addition, we find their staff to be very helpful and responsive. I/we do not have any reservations working for equity.

7 days to Lousiana, 8 days to Texas. I am in hopes for Texas. NOLA has been hit enough. |

Tom, I vote with you on this one. Still working Katrina, NOLA is the last place anyone should want this to strike |
