Any calls ?

my home had small hail, i would not think roof damage, but a friend of mine is repairing a Santa Fe tile roof that was damaged. it is a church. 100 broken tile. they broke where the nails are underneath the tile. maybe wind lift also.

i am roofer, and we didn't recieve many calls today.

i think staff adjusters will have their hands full though.

Brooks, I'm seeing more claims from the north, Denton and east ,  rather than down in the metroplex. I expect to see more scattered in the coming weeks.

Staright line wind in West Fort Worth.
Blew the top 3 courses off of a U.S. Tile, light weight clay. All the way around the house.
Then the flying tile destroyed the rest of the roof.
This home is not sold, who adjust builders risk claims ?

What about Breckenridge Jim ? You could sleep at home working those claims.

My son had his roof totaled by Farmers this morning. He is in Lewisville. The adjuster told him he had 18 - 20 hits per square. His vehicle received $2200 in damage.

Janice and I are working hail and wind claims in Texarkana, Fort Smith, Fayetteville and other areas for Cunningham Lindsey. Going to put a  lot of windshield time in, but, work is work. We still have tornado files open from the past three tornadoes that have hit out state. This week is supposed to be clear and cool, so it should be nice work.

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

My mother live in Breckenridge, said not much dmg, News has been showing Airport over and over.  Right now I've got more than I can handle in DFW.

My boyfriend lives in far north Dallas. His neighborhood was hit pretty hard. Lots of roof claims. Plano and Allen were also hit pretty hard. There are some houses that are no more in those areas. I saw one house that had the entire back half of it torn off in Plano

Mineral Wells got walloped

That Mineral Wells tile has finally met its match.

I would love to roof the Baker Hotel. I guess the city is going to let it rot though.

Yes, most likely, though there is a rumor of a new buyer, this from a reliable source. We are crossing our collective fingers.

Been here for 1 1/2 weeks. Large hail in Weatherford. Some in Arlington. Lots of work.
