Mr. Downes,

I use an RCA 64M. I think I bought it at Walmart, but it may have been OfficeMax. It works great, it names the file based on date and time. I have used it with my cell phone on speakerphone and on my handsfree in my car. Also on newer cell phones, you can record your call and email it yourself.

Mr Downes

I use an Olympus VN-960PC digital voice recorder. PC link to email, edit or archive your recordings. It will automatically create separate files that you can go back and find by date. The AAA batteries are rated to last for 25 hours with enough digital memory to hold 16 hours of recording. I record voice details of scope notes and save with each of my archived claim files.

Dennis:

I have an Olympus VN-240PC. Not very expensive. Compact, simple to use and dependable.
