...smart tool, ...electronic compass I wasn't sure if my tools were smart or not... do you mean this thing? A level? Looks like a great tool, but I wouldn't use it often enough to keep it on my belt. Just seeing if there is another tool out there I don't know about - always learning. I keep a 4' level in my van - great for photos showing ridges in a wet wood floor or warping subfloor in a mobile home. I have an angle finding compass, not electronic, that helps for estimating complex floor plans with angles, but it doesn't weigh much. Sounds like you have a great system that works for you. My system includes a trip out to the van to get rid of the 50' tape, etc when I get to the interior - which enables me to survive sans-suspenders. |
