I am going to try and post a couple links here that will take you to two recent rulings by a couple judges that are rather interesting.  The 1st is by Judge Acker who is presiding over the case of Renfroe vs The Rigsby Sisters.  The long and short of it is he hit up the sisters and Dickie Scruggs jointly and severally for $65,000 in civil contempt fines over the games they played when they were ordered to return the stolen documents to Renfroe and Scruggs played his games and gave the documents to his good friend Jim Hood, the MS AG (the same one who said he couldn't investigate and press charges against Scruggs and his bribery co defendents because it would "be like putting his family on trial").  there are some great parts in this opinion, but one thing in it that through me off was the statement that the sisters actually stole the documents about two months after they filed their whistleblower suit.  I would guess there could be some huge legal implications to that.

 Here's the order,

here's his opinion

And here is one by my kind of judge that calls it like he see's it.  The world needs more judge's that write opinion's and rulings like this.  Having lived in TX for about 13 years I can relate to this opinion.  Very short and well worth the read.  Waggoner v. Walmart.

This Judge seems as knowledgeable , and deserving, of the woefully lacking "common sense" rule.

Comparing the participants to the representative States college,s is quite amusing and settling the dispute on the border of the states, TEXARKANA, seems to be a true application of the common sense rule.
