Hey guys.  If you are anything like me you are bored sitting at home waiting for the next big storm.  I live in central Florida and may be recieving a contract to inspect up to 10,000 homes this year.  I will be needing some help from some experienced adjusters.  If you are interested in some work send me an email.  If I do receive the contract that is..  It would be easier if you lived here in Florida but its not required.  I know many adjusters don't mind travelling for some work.  I would like to line up 40-50 adjusters available and include that in my bid.

Interesting this would come up today. Someone had just emailed me information on this program yesterday. You can click on the attendee list of those bidding for these inspections and I see Crawford is also listed as an attendee.

When are they making the announcements who will get them?

March 28th is the expected award date. I am one of the eligible parties bidding to participate in this program. Hopefully some work will come to adjusters from this. During the pilot program inexperienced people were brought in off the street to do these inspections. An experienced adjuster can easily handle 10+ inspections per day with out sacrificing quality of work. Unfortunately I am a small company compared to some of the huge govt. contractors also bidding for this work. Fortunately they will award 10 contracts and there are less than 30 companies eligible.

By the way, when you email me please attach a resume if you can. Thanks for all the feedback so far. I am also in need of a good IT guy in the Orlando area, or an adjuster with a good IT resume as well as some adjusting experience.

I bet Wendy knows who Dave Thomas was.

No one is absolutely worthless, at the very least you can serve as a bad example.
