| | I hope you get the bid. I did this once for a person of interest in Florida and was paid $12 per house. Had to measure count the bathrooms and take at least two photos and at that time they were hard copy photos! I drove many miles between the risks and well into this I decided somone was making money but sure wasn't me! Good luck, I hope they pay a little more and the risk inspections can be up loaded via electronic device and not a paper file. | | | |

| Well for $12 an inspection it would be hard to get out of bed. I intend to pay ALOT more than that. The standard I have heard has been $50-$60 but I feel that is still low. I intend to pay more than that also. The system is all digital, and the state has written software for a PC and a hand held device. The state is paying out a total of $150. | | | |

| | Chris, I do hope you are able to wade through all the bureaucratic baloney and are able to get the contract, if so, I and my wife will jump in for you. Sounds like you are going to treat your crew respectfully. | | Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. | |

| Mike, It means that: 1) I wish Chris well and much success...2) If he gets the contract, remember that his fellow adjusters will make or break him , so be nice.... and 3) The David vs. Goliath reference is correct as there are some heavy hitters trying for the contract....
Okay?

Chris,
GOOD LUCK with your endeavor and I hope that you get the contract...and if you do, please be kind to your fellow adjusters that are working with you.......
again, Good luck.......
If you get the contract, we can change your name to David!!!! Hmmm, wonder what that means?? I was a little slow as I hadn't yet had my 2nd cup of coffee, but the next post re: David vs Goliath sunk in.

| Thank you for the support. Bid package just passed the 100 page mark. I'm not sure if I should celebrate or not. Sure would be rough if I do all this work and not make the cut. Today I am writing in detail my Quality Assurance Program and collecting reference letters from those I have worked with / for. Another fun filled day ! Chris | | | |

| All done. Proposal looks great. I am feeling pretty confident. Tons of emails to be answered regarding opportunity. I offered to put 200+ adjusters to work this year if the state will let me. I know we could use it. Now ill spend tomorrow responding to the interested applicants. So far I have met quite a few adjusters who can carry a good conversation. Feels good to be done | | | |
