| | Chris, you have taken on a considerable project. We all wish you the best of luck and hope you are able to succeed in your endeavor. Good management and a good experienced crew is all you need. The key to success is to not allow anyone to tell you that you can't do it. Of course you can. Lots of work involved, but very doable. | | Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. | |

| Tom, An old pilot such as yourself should know that in some cases failure is fatal. Such as the failure to remember to wear your parachute while skydiving.
Chris, Best of luck, do your homework, pack your chute properly.

| | Larry, I never forgot my parachute when I jumped. I learned right off that the free fall is fun, but without a chute, the sudden stoppage is terribly destructive. Janice never forgot hers either. I guess a new business is like a free fall, lots of fun, but it can be bumpy. Of course, if you packed your chute right, then it works well, and there is always the reserve, just in case. There are those that do and those that wish. I prefer the ones that do and do it right. I have met so many people that wanted to learn to fly and some that wanted to skydive. They said they just couldn't find the time. I feel sorry for those who can't find the time to fly with the clouds or fall like a Pelican in search of food. | | Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. | |

Good luck, we can all use the work. I spoke with you early in this process and you seemed stoked about this prospect. I hope it all works out and I am looking forward to working with you. | | | |

| Received inspector certification today. Class was 8 hours and the test took 1.5 hours. It was very thorough on how to complete the inspection process. It seems there were 15 bids submitted to the state and they are now saying they are going to award 2-8 contracts. Odds are looking pretty good. Chris | | | |

| | I believe an earlier post states the companies chosen will be announced on March 28th. I have spoken to a few people that have taken the class for this work and they were surprised by the difficulty of the final test. | | | |

| I believe that 60% of those people in my class passed. I recieved a 94, and figured I would have done better. Today is March 28th, and according to the docs, the state should tell me if I recieve a contract today. I would be lying if I said I was not anxious. All I can do is wait... Feels like I am watching a cat 4 several hours from landfall. Chris | | | |
