Before Xactimate came out with XactValue, we would use worksheets from Boecke... but mine are ancient. The Square foot prices are obsolete. Do you need something other than a valuation from X-value and a comment if they have 80% Ins to Value or whatever?  (I know you are using Xactimate)

If CO-Insurance is needed we provide a CO-Insurance Calculator on the Policy Support page where you can email results to yourself if needed, it will also calculate the penalty.

I have X-25, and find nothing about Xactvalue. I don't know if its an ad-on or what. The company just says they want an ITV worksheet, somthing more than a simple sq ft x cost = rcv. Adjsuter wasn't more specific than that. I've only been asked a couple time for more. Thought I would find one that worked for everyone.

Thanks all

JWG

We are still on 24.12 which has Xactvalue.  Just loaded the 25 demo today on our backup laptop and saw the Xactvalue was not there.  (At least not in the normal place.)  I assumed that the demo did not have it but that it would be there once we upgraded our subscription and had the active 25 version.  Please say it isn't so that  it is now an option at additional cost!

My Xact 25 has the residential valuation module, and I believe this comes with the standard installation. If you need the Commercial module, you need to call and activate it and it's an additional fee.

To create a new valuation open Xact 25 and go to the Dashboard tab in the Control Module. Where it says ADD NEW PROJECT there is a drop down menu, and you switch it to residential valuation, and type in the new file name and click on the create new file button and it will create the valuation as a new project.

Here's an example with Microsoft Word, which I have seen grow from a simple word processor, to BLOATware.

80 percent of the requests for "new features" to Microsoft for MS Word already exist in the product, but people can't find them.

Guys,

I use the PowerClaim PV program for ITV, even though I use Xmate for the estimates.  I prefer the PowerClaim PV, and I am required to use the XM8, but nobody said I had to use their ITV.

You can get a 30 day full featured trial, and the annual license is very reasonable. I also find the service exceptional. The program is easy to use and I think it is fairly accurate and easy to tweak when needed.

Your mileage may vary.
