Why are the price lists now read only. If I pay to use the software I should be able to edit the price list as I see fit.

The new Q4 on the web is read only for some reason.

Does anybody have one that is not locked?

I am dealing with the same items everyday that are not in the list and I am
getting tired of retyping the same info over all the time

If you are dealing with the same items over and over all the time, can you make up a macro with the items and pricing in them and just reuse that? I haven't dealt with Integraclaim for over 3 years and can't address the read only issue

I believe that Integraclaim has changed the database to read only and it has been like that for years. As far as I know, you will have to build a price database on your own that is different. There will actually be two databases in the system and you can toggle back and forth as needed. Your database can be edited to whatever you want the price to be. Your carrier may take a very dim view of this, so check with the mangler.

I'm here in Galveston using the TWIA data base provided by MSB. Had no problem creating many macros for leeward and seaward claims and maybe you need

the "TEXCOAST-Texas Coastal-Resid/Comm data base"

I have a copy i can email you if you wish.

Thor, you are not going to be able to edit the price database in IC. Many companies do not want the database changed, they want consistent prices on all estimates, even thought the prices may not truly reflect the current market prices. This has been a problem since IC was purchased from DDS. DDS was an exceptional program which allowed us to be actual insurance adjusters, not just appraisers. We are now appraisers only. I think Simsol allows you to change prices, but not sure. I think Simsol is the future of adjusting, actual adjusting.
Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.
