This was all over the news. I was at the Mavericks/Jazz game during this with my friend from North Richland Hills and his wife called and said it was terrible. If anyone is working these claims drop me a line. I'd gladly buy your lunch or something to ride with you on a few claims over there.

This weekends weather in Ft Worth, The  South and East Coast should get most of the old established storm adjusters who are not working, out and working. Some of the best new people who made their mark in 05 should also get called out.

It appears the hail is large enough to do damage to roofs, etc. Problem is, how widespread is it. Is it widespread enough for cat adjusters to be deployed?

Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.

I drove an area this morning that had broken skylights and windshields. Aprox. 1000 homes in this area. I dont think this will be a large cat. Hope I'm wrong. We all need to work

AS AN AUTO ADJUSTER ,I WAS PUT ON STANDBY SUNDAY MORNING. IT APPEARS THAT THERE ARE A LOT OF HAIL DAMAGED AUTOMOBILES IN THE DALLAS AND FORT WORTH AREA. I SHOULD KNOW MORE ON MONDAY AFTERNOON.

i are a roofer.
we are not storm chasers, we do tile roofs, and small ( 200 square) commercial work. we have more work than we can handle.
skylites are damaged for sure. also vents.
some i have been on will not cover deductible for damages.
does the homeowner get charged a claim if there is not enough damage for replacement? i believe in a catastrophe they are not.
once again, in my opinion, from what i have seen in this area, very marginal.
low slopes obviously suffering most damage. i have been @ Hwy. 26 & 121. lots of damage that would leave me questioning to total roof or not.
what are the hits per square going to be?
