Do I have to convert my manuscript into PDF file? If so, is there any specific settings I can follow to avoid any font or resolution issue? Is there any other tools I can use to create PDF files? And I also want to gather some information about software is there any product suited for J2ME CLDC and is there any reference implementation for CLDC. If any one knows about this reply me.

I'm don't fully understand your question. To answer the part I think I understand, there are several programs that can convert your report to pdf. I have used pdf factory for several years with considerable success. The trial version is a free download so you can try it before you buy it.

Simsol allows you to create the pdf right in the estimating software. No additional program needed.

I'm with Steve... I don't understand your question at all.  Maybe there's a computer geek out here amongst us that does.   Your best bet might be someone on a site other than insurance claims, because for the most part we are a little bit software illiterate vs.  hardware wantabees.

In looking at your post, you are having font issues already for some reason.  Was that a cut & paste, or direct post, or are you just giving us poor old bored adjusters something to think about while it's slow?

PowerClaim also has PDF built into their program.  You can scan all your attachments into the program which is a faster way of sending files.

When you get away from the big 5 carriers on Homeowners losses, many carriers will let the adjusters use any program of their choice on commercial losses. The Mississippi legal problems will probably drag in the software estimates as lock-step and collusion  before this is over. The soft ware program used does not make the adjuster's (scope) reduced to the instant estimate correct/incorrect..

Ema,

J2ME is used in certain heldheld or wireless devices that usually run in SUN products or operating systems (Unix). You will need to contact your product vendor or do a search for PDF Converters that can speak with J2ME (especially for font and resolution issues). Or, find a PDF converter site that is allowing their J2ME beta version to used for downloaded for testing.

What product/device from SUN Microsystems are you using to write your manuscripts?
