This was a great paper Steve. I related to it as I have worked branch assist on some winter storms in Eastern and Western PA. as well as Boston and my hometown of Houston. You did not say it, so I will say it for you. You are a real fixer. This is the best compliment to you and any adjuster that can just walk in set down and began to move the paper out. It seems they always want to have the same adjuster to come back or one just as good as the last one. And, Steve this is you.

This a fantastic article Steve. I worked Branch Assist for 9 months of '84 and early '85. I learned so much about policy that I thought I already knew. Especially commercial policies written for one company in particular and it would be up to branch assist to let the adjuster know what was covered and what was not. They are totally different than the standard policy forms. Once again a great article. De Ward

Just read your article for about the 4th time Steve. I will jog Cado newcomers to find the article.Since 06 and 07 were very slow I have worked about 60 slip and fall BI Claims and it seems I have better settlements today than I did 50 years ago.

Some clients may request that you handle O&P in a different way then what your current default settings allow. In those cases you may only wish to change the settings on a selected file instead of changing your system setup.
This is an article I have considered writing for years, one that deals with some of the emotional/psychological elements of working with people who have experienced personal crisis as a result of a catastrophic event, especially with regard to what this means for effective claim settlement.
